Anti-Coup Alliance in Beni Suef: Junta Forces Kill 3 Citizens in Cold Blood Monday
|Tuesday, January 26,2016 06:07|
January winds are unto us once again, reminding us of the martyrs who gave their lives for the freedom and dignity of this homeland and all its people. They also remind us of the spirit of the day we stood in the face of tyrants and challenged injustice – united in the square. That January 25 spirit is back unto us again, and we mourn more martyrs who have passed in Beni Suef province, the land of steadfastness and perseverance.
In the early hours of Monday morning, coup forces killed Mohamed Hamdan, engineer. They had arrested him from his home in the village of Bani Suleiman, Beni Suef, more than a week earlier, and held him hostage at the National Security headquarters. On Monday, the heinous criminals took Mohamed into fields of crops and shot him dead in cold blood.
Beni Suef also witnessed the killing of two brothers, locals in the city of October. Coup security forces raided their home and killed both brothers in cold blood, also. The revolutionary January atmosphere has been stained with the color of blood, despite the commitment of protesters to non-violence.
The oppressors and the despots have not learnt the lesson at all. There is no way for Egyptians to live free and dignified except by ousting those tyrants, those heinous criminals and murderers.
All of us, Egyptians, must rise… for your trampled dignity, your spilled blood and plundered resources. We will not betray the blood of our martyrs, nor cower or hesitate before reclaiming our democratic rights and our beloved Egypt – free, dignified and thriving.
These traitorous criminals should know that the blood of our martyrs is dearer than our very souls, and that the hour of retribution will soon arrive. No criminals will escape punishment. The tyrants' oppression is a measure of their fear of the revolutionaries' coming victory and the punishment that await the traitors.
