Acknowledging the current situation in Egypt, Freedom and Justice Party VP Dr. Rafiq Habib stated that Egyptians are faced with great challenges to achieve the desired reform. He stressed despite the great deal of adversity in their path, Egyptians need to focus their strength and their ability to overcome hopelessness on protecting the revolution through wisdom not chaos.
Speaking to Ikhwanweb, Habib maintained that the Egyptian people are capable of completing the transition of power, adding that under the current circumstances the armed forces are doing their best for this transition
Habib asserted that the armed forces’ statement was clear when it stressed that although it worked on meeting the people’s demand it would not tolerate the country being exposed to danger.
He cited that Egypt would prosper and demands would be met only after a stable political system was established by the people adding this would only be possible through the transition of power and not through continued protests.
