Hamas MP Dr. Omar Abdulrazek has denounced the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) for storming his home on Tuesday evening and taking away his son.
The MP told the PIC on Tuesday night that his son was summoned to meet an Israeli intelligence official but he refused to go, adding that the there was no charge leveled against his son, who is a student at the Najah University in Nablus.
The IOF troops launch routine detention and harassment campaigns against Hamas deputies and supporters in the West Bank coinciding with a similar campaign launched by security militias loyal to Fatah leader and de facto president Mahmoud Abbas in a bid to weaken resistance and Islamic opposition.
The IOF had detained MP Abdelrazek on 15/12/2008 on the charge of affiliation with Hamas and held him in custody for 26 months.
