MANAMA, -- Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have expressed concern over the continued Israeli siege on the Palestinian people especially in Gaza Strip and called for its immediate end.
A joint statement issued at the conclusion of a visit by the Saudi monarch King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Bahrain on Monday expressed dismay at the persistence of the "oppressive siege" on the Palestinian people.
They hoped that the USA and the European Union would assume their roles in activating the negotiations process.
