State Security Police force launched on Sunday evening a fresh wave of arrests among supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate for the constituency of Talkha, Abdul Mohsen Qamhawi. Security forces raided several villages arresting several MB members.

In the village of Bahr Al-Eish, a force consisting of five officers and ten corporals and soldiers arrested Ramadan Abu Shashia. The force raided his house at 3:30 PM on Sunday afternoon and disheveled the contents of the flat and turned it upside-down.
 
In a provocative and barbaric manner, the state security members searched the house and threw the Quran on the floor in complete disregard to the sanctity of the holy book. They even seized contracts of all lands owned by Ramadan possesses, and confiscated his children"s computer.
 
Ramadan Abu Shashia is an educational methods technician in Asfour preparatory school, district of Belqas. He is working also in greenhouses farming and is an expert in this field.
 
He has four sons:
Khaled 22 years, BA in Physical Education,
Asmaa, 20 years, a student at the Faculty of Arts, Minya University
Israa, 10 years, forth grade student
Omar, 8 years, second grade student.
 
Later on, the security force raided the village of Belqas Khamis (Gemyana) and detained Hossam Al-Sayyad Abdol Qawi, a teacher in Al-Azhar institute in the village.
 
The force stormed the house, broke the door, disheveled furniture of the flat, children and his bedridden father. Hossam Al-Sayyad has two children: Nada, 4 years, Ziad, 5 months.
He is the only caregiver and breadwinner of his family and he is taking care of his old and ill father.
 
The police force attacked, also in the same village, the house of Hassan Ali Yunus to arrest him but he was not at home at that time. The force broke the door, searched the house and disheveled the contents of the flat.
Hassan Yunus is an agronomist works in the agricultural administration in Belqas and he has five children:
 
The force attacked also the village of Islah to arrest Mostafa Mahmoud Taha who wasn"t in the house during the raid. The force disheveled the furniture of the house and seized all religious books and booklets.
 
The force attacked also the village of Qawaim Al-Abd to arrest sheikh Abdullah Ahmed Sabrah, an imam and preacher in the Ministry of Endowments, but he wasn"t at home at the time of the raid. The force stormed into the house after breaking the door and intimidated women and children inside and seized a big sum of money that belongs to his family and addition to many books.
 
 
 A force of detectives and state security elements headed by Nasser Fattouh, the state security office chief in Shirbin and Mohamed Al Sayed Said, the police chief of the district of Belqas removed last Friday at dawn May, 25, 2007, posters supporting the Muslim Brotherhood candidate for the constituency of Talkha, Abdul Mohsen Al Qamhawi in several villages of the district of Belqas. Posters were removed from villages of Qaim Al-Abd, Al-Takhsheeba, Al-Islah.
 
Many posters of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in most villages of the district of Belqas were removed last week like villages of Manshiyat Basandila, Halawa, Damlash, Al-Jawadiya, Basandila, Gmiana, Al Damayra, Qaim Al-Abd, Al Bdawha.
 
In the district of Talkha, Mohamed Adel, a calligrapher, was detained. Several more houses in the district of Talkha were stormed during which doors were broken and women and children were intimidated.
 
In the district of Shirbin, police detained the following individuals,

-Ehab Fouda Abdul Raouf, a painter

-Al Shrbini Roshdi Ali Hassan, Quran teacher

-Mohamed Mahmoud Abdul Khalek Al-Adib, primary teacher from the village of Sawaqi Al-Arab.
 
The security forces in Mit Ghamr removed on Saturday, a sign hanged on the house of Khaled Al Dib, the Muslim Brotherhood candidate for the constituency of Mit Ghamr.
 
The security forces detained also on Saturday in Mit Ghamr a calligrapher was writing the election signs placards and posters of Dr. Khaled Al Dib.
 
It is worth mentioning that 26 supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in Mit Ghamr were detained. The prosecution ordered more than 15 of them released but the state security did not implement the decision as usual  and moved the detainees to Tama Al-Amdid police station.
