On Sunday, the Muslim Brotherhood’s representative of Ashmon City, Ashraf Bader el-Dean, paid a visit to Ashmon Coptic Orthodox Church where he met public Coptic figures along with the church priests.

The promotion of the public interest via cooperation was the core of the meeting. El-Dean, in addition, clarified the Muslim Brotherhood’s aims and the content of its campaign motto ’ Islam is the Solution’. This clarification rectified the distorted image of the Brotherhood that is promoted by the government-owned media against the group.

El-Dean proclaimed that he did not call on the church during his electoral campaign in order to escape the potential allegations of those who exaggerate matters. Now, nevertheless, he becomes the parliamentary representative who is always ready to help the folk of the constituency; Muslims and Copts.
