In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious
Praise be to Allah, Peace and Blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad and those who follow his way

We are suspired by the odd and unjustified measures taken by the govenment when the State Security forces stormed homes of some Muslim Brotherhood activists arresting them, followed by the detention of Dr. Rashad Muhammad El-Byoumy, 70, a professor at the Cairo University Faculty of Science.

While the Muslim Brotherhood opposes and condemns these repressing unjust actions which are constitutionally void, it asserts the need for the nation’s persistence to the long-desired reform and announces its unchangeable adherence to the necessity of abolishing the emergency laws which violate both the constitution and people’s will.

The nation, with the Muslim Brotherhood at its heart, will neither give up its progress nor waste its gains. It will not tolerate again the grip of the repulsive autocracy after being loosened to some extent via sacrifices and energetic action. No matter what the price may be, we will continue our march towards freedom. To those who seek to create a state of tension and oppress faithful citizens for sake of limited personal interests and for securing the continuation of their dominance that marginalizes the role of the great people who are willingly moving towards a better future, we would like to say rethink and reconsider your stance and know that it is impossible to keep the status quo, and if injustice prevails for a while, the truth will survive till the Day of Judement.

We say to the Brotherhood that you are struggling for the call of beneficence, truth, and peace; therefore, be patient, steadfast, united and God-fearing so you may be victorious. You should know that patience comes about victory and that hardship is accompanied by relief. Allah is with you and Will not waste your efforts.
