The Israeli aggression on Lebanon reaps the lives of 600 people in 16 days

Israeli aggression on Lebanon continues for the 16th day running causing more deaths and destruction, in addition to hundreds of wounded people and hundreds of thousands of displaced people.


The number of martyrs have reached 600, the corpses of 420 of them reached hospitals. Amongst those martyrs there are 349 civilians, 29 soldiers and policemen, 32 Hizbullah fighters and six Amal fighters.


Since the start of the aggression, more than 800 people were wounded. 81 soldiers and policemen were also wounded.


It is difficult to have an accurate estimate of the material losses but it is thought to run into billions of dollars in terms of destroyed infrastructure. A hundred bridges were destroyed in addition to the destruction inflected on the airport and the various seaports.


The aggression also targeted lorries, including those carrying humanitarian aid to the victims. 450 lorries were bombed.


Petrol stations, water facilities, electricity plants, food factories, mobile phone transmitters and television and radio transmitters were not spared either.
