British Sunday Times on September 4, 2006, reported that British far rightists have come to follow the steps of extremist  groups. The paper established that British, anti- Muslim extremists posted stills of video footage on the internet on August 11 through 19, 2006, in which they threatened to decapitate Muslims in Britain. They also threatened all Muslims in Britain to leave the country or they would face death. Striking is that these films weren’t posted until after the detention of individuals suspected of an attempt to bomb a plane bound to the US from Britain, in addition that they  synchronize with growing assaults on mosques in several areas in Britain.

In an exclusive statement to Ikhwanweb, Chairman of the Politburo within the Islamic British League Sayed Fergani said that it is not the first time this paper has disclosed threatening messages against Muslims, but what raises concern is that these messages this time include death threats which have never happened before. Fergani attributed this high degree of hostility on the part of the far rightists against Muslims to two factors: First, the unfair and unbiased way of presenting Islam in the Western media especially that controlled by the Jewish lobby and interest groups who have collaborated to mar the image of Islam and Muslims portraying the latter as terrorists. Second, which Fergani sees the more serious, is the terrorist acts of Qaeda organization which adopts killings and assaulting on innocents in Europe and civilians in general as an unchangeable policy of its leaders. This, he said, has marred the image of Islam and Muslims, depicting them as unacceptable from Islamic perspective.” These Qaeda’s acts benefit the enemies of Islam and the Zionist lobby, as these terrorist acts are used well by them to generalize about the entire Muslims like that at a time when about ten million Muslims in Europe have come to establish themselves, becoming a good voting bloc which many political trends in the West seek to win over their votes”, he added. Fergani called on the media in general and the Western media in particular to observe fairness and integrity without bias with a party at the expense of another, calling on the security agencies also to not level groundless charges or launch random detention campaigns, citing a large number of detainees who were released as they turned out to have nothing to do with terrorism or acts of violence.
