Muslim Brotherhood Mourns Young Egyptian Ihab Mohannad

The Muslim Brotherhood mourns with great sadness and sorrow the death of the young Egyptian Mohannad Ihab, who passed away aged only 20, after a long battle with leukemia, which he was diagnosed with during unjust and unwarranted detention in coup prisons for refusing the military coup that trampled the will of the Egyptian people.

Like any young Egyptian, Mohannad dreamt of a free and independent homeland, in which he could see a bright future – a homeland that respects the will of its people to choose their rulers; a homeland with a respectable system of education, health… But it seems that the dreams of Mohannad and young people at large disturb the coup regime, as it is doing its worst to kill them off.

God bless Mohannad and the thousands like him throughout Egypt! May He punish all the murderers.
