Aisha Al-Shater: Lopsided Junta Justice Pampers Mubarak; Ignores Akef and Sultan Ill-Health

Aisha Al-Shater: Lopsided Junta Justice Pampers Mubarak; Ignores Akef and Sultan Ill-Health

Aisha Al-Shater, daughter of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Deputy Chairman Khairat Al-Shater, criticized the discrimination shown by the junta’s justice system in the treatment of deposed president Hosni Mubarak, compared with honorable citizens held captive in the putschists’ prisons.

She reminded that a judge ordered the supervised removal of ousted president Hosni Mubarak from a courtroom to a luxury hospital when he seemed a little unwell during a trial.

Aisha said: "By contrast, Mohamed Sultan is dragged to court even though he is so unwell he could not move at all. And Mohamed Akef (the Muslim Brotherhood’s former Chairman) must attend court sessions, although his ill-health causes him great and obvious suffering.

"The coup justice system only remembers humanity with Mubarak, their president, their master; but such humanity and compassion are non-existent with honest and honorable citizens."
