The Muslim Brotherhood will hold a press conference on current events, Monday at 7:30pm local time (17:30GMT), in Rabaa Al-Adaweya Mosque, Nasr City.

Meanwhile, Muslim Brotherhood Chairman Dr. Mohamed Badie exhorted the masses of Egyptian people to save the blood of Egyptians, and to stop providing political cover for violence, those who finance and use violence, and those who instigate, aid and abet violence, pointing that all Egyptian blood is sacred.

In recent tweets, Dr. Badie urged the masses of the Egyptian people to stand for electoral legitimacy, and to protect Egypt against the assault on democracy and the attempt to replicate the ousted regime. He further called on Egyptians to sincerely pray that God protect Egypt from affliction and adversity.

"Let’s ask God to protect Egypt and its people and institutions from all those who plot evil against it. Let’s pray for unity and constructive dialogue for Egypt."
