FJP: Dismissal of Azhar University President Good Start Point for Purging Inefficient Officials

Dr. Murad Ali, media adviser to the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said: " Al-Azhar Supreme Council’s rapid response to the student’s food poising crisis, dismissing the university president and bringing him to trial, is evidence that postrevolution Egypt is headed in the right direction, with no place in it for negligence, or corruption cover-ups.

"The FJP pays special tribute to the students who demanded their rights and Azhar’s Supreme Council which responded to them promptly. We expect the prosecution and the judiciary to expedite the investigation, hold negligent officials accountable, and punish the corrupt."
