FJP Nominates Katatni as People’s Assembly Chairman

Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Chairman Mohamed Morsi announced on Monday the nomination of FJP’s Secretary General Dr. Saad Katatni as FJP’s candidate for the People’s Assembly Chairman position.


At a press conference held at the party’s headquarters today, Morsi said that the Executive Bureau of the FJP decided in its meeting earlier today to select Katatni as FJP’s nominee for PA Chairman, and this is pending the ratification of the FJP’s Parliamentary Committee. 


FJP’s Executive Bureau includes Dr. Mohamed Beltagy, Hussein Ibrahim, Farid Ismail, Saad El Husseini, Kamilia Helmy, and Dr. Ahmad Diab, besides the Sevretary General Saad Katatni, and his deputies Ossama Yassin and Ahmad Sulaiman. The meeting was chaired by FJP Chairperson Mohamed Morsi and his deputies Essam El Erian and Rafik Habib.
