British Parliament to Question Cameron on Egypt’s Former Regime Fugitives in UK

Egypt’s head of the Popular Initiative to Recover Egypt’s Looted Money, Saad Moataz Salah El Deen, stated that British MP Andy Slaughter will submit a report on Tuesday regarding the reasons behind the British governments failure to hand over wanted former ministers and fugitive businessmen  including Yusuf Boutros Ghali, Rashid Mohamed Rashid, Magdy Rasekh, Ashraf Saad and Mamdouh Ismail among others.
 
In a statement Salah El Deen stressed that the coordinator of the initiative in London Mustafa Rajab held a meeting Saturday with the British MP Andy Slaughter and the Minister of Justice and discussed the British government’s  position concerning the Egyptian defendants wanted by the Egyptian judiciary in the corruption cases who fled to  Britain.
 
During the meeting which was also attended by Shenouda Shelby, Secretary General of the Union of Egyptians in Britain, Mr. Slaughter agreed to question the PM Mr. David Cameron in parliament on the reasons behind British government’s failure to extradite these fugitives to Egypt.
