Dr. Mohamed Morsi, Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), stressed that the electoral landscape today reflects a marvellous, positive image, in an excellent start to a powerful campaign for the democratic handover of power to an elected civilian authority that expresses the Egyptian people as a whole.

Dr. Morsi explained – in a telephone call with the TV channel ‘Al Jazeera - Live – Egypt’ that the party and its members are the first in applying the law, careful not to fall into any violations.

He also stressed that those distributing FJP campaign materials in front of some electoral polling stations are either playing tricks masterminded by people intent on distorting the magnificent and beautiful image of the electoral process, or individuals who unintentionally violated the law, despite the fact that they have already been warned not to do so.
