Badie Slams Police Violence, Calls For Restraint, Immediate and Fair Investigation Into Tahrir Clashes

Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Chairman, Dr. Mohamed Badie, emphasized the significance of an immediate and just investigation to the current incidents in Tahrir Square. He stressed it was imperative that all national institutions and factions express their concern and love for Egypt through actions.

On his twitter account Badie wrote: "I reject the forceful ending of the peaceful protests in Tahrir and escalated assaults on individuals and private and public property. There should be no more bloodshed in Egypt".

Moreover, Badie urged all Egypt’s patriotic people to "show restraint, to foil the perverse plots of our beloved Egypt’s enemies, so as not to distort the image of the great revolution."
