MB Praises Yemeni Revolution, Calls on Gulf Countries to Intervene
Muslim Brotherhood’s (MB) media spokesman, Dr. Mahmoud Ghozlan, described indiscriminate attacks by forces loyal to Yemeni President Abd Allah Saleh against peaceful protestors "crimes against humanity and violation of all international treaties religious values"

“The Gulf states must intervene and stem the bloody massacres in Yemen and Syria, and support the innocent people of these countries against brutal regimes”, Ghozlan said

According to eye witnessed reports, Yemeni pro-regime snipers shot at victims from rooftops Monday killing at least 21 protesters in a second day of violence in Yemen’s capital. Emergency personnel have recorded more than 113 injured in what they described as the bloodiest assault in months on demonstrators calling for the removal of the president Ali Abd Allah Saleh.

Ghozlan stated that the MB praises the peaceful people of Yemen and their stance during the revolution. He stressed that the Yemeni people were capable of raising weapons in the face of tyranny but opted to combat the regime through peaceful protests. “Sooner or later the peaceful protestors will be victorious; in the end they will triumph”, he said.
