The Political committee in Egypt has approved the Salafi’s application to form a political party, making it the third group with an agenda based on Islamic references.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party, and the Wasat Party were also approved after years of being rejected by the former Mubarak regime.

On this note the FJP leader Dr. Mohamed Morsy extended warm wishes and congratulated the Salafis on their new Nour party wishing them well, stressing that Egypt is witnessing the birth of democracy. He called on all political factions to set aside differences and unite for the development and progress of Egypt.
