Dr. Mostafa Al-Feqi, Head of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Shura Council and member of the NDP stated that the unified law on places of worship will not be applied for procedural measures, pointing out that this law could lead to affliction in the community as some Muslims might call for the building of a mosque on 100 acres like some Christian monasteries. Al-Feqi noted that he believes Egyptians were involved in the bombing of the Saints Church in Alexandria because it is very difficult for anyone to be able to do this without internal assistance. |
