MB Bloc Holds Press Conference to Discuss President’s Speech


The Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc will hold a press conference on Wednesday December 27, 2006, to discuss president Mubarak’s speech about the upcoming constitutional amendments and other political issues. The conference will be held at the MB bloc’s headquarters in Al-Alf Maskan square at 12.00 PM Cairo time. All major news media are invited to attend.


Dr. Hamdi Hassan- the bloc’s media spokesman- confirmed that the conference aims at clarifying the bloc’s attitude towards the new constitutional amendments that president Mubarak presented to the People Assembly on Tuesday, and the latest political developments after the latest police crackdown against members of the Muslim Brotherhood.
