MB offshoot in Jordan calls on gov’t to resign

 Jordan’s Muslim Brotherhood offshoot the Islamic Action Front has called on the government to resign demanding the dissolution of the Lower House.
 
The IAF, called for the formation of an interim government chaired by a popular and impartial figure capable of addressing the people’s hardships.
 
During the past few days, Jordan has witnessed several major cities taking to the streets protesting to rising prices in the country and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Samir Rifae’s government.

The MB’s political arm the IAF’s Secretary General Hamza Mansour, called on the government to resign, stressing the significance of forming an interim government preparation for elections to choose a new government. He also called for the dissolution of the lower house, which he emphasized neither represented the Jordanians nor their interests.
