4 Helwan MB students released, detention of 12 others prolonged

 The Higher State Security Prosecution released, on Wednesday, four Muslim Brotherhood students in the Faculty of Commerce, Helwan University, of those arrested on Sunday 5/11/2006 at dawn; also, it renewed jailing two students and 10 of their neighbours living in the same building in which the guest students are living, for more fifteen days.

The released students are: Mohamed Al Sayed Ali and Ahmed Youssef (third graders), and Nasr Gomaah and Ahmed Mohamed Omar (First graders), and it renewed imprisonment of students: Ibrahim Rabey Ibrahim and Ayman Hashem (Fourth graders); the released students did the first exam of the term exams inside prison.

The families of the detainees appealed to officials to intervene in order to release their kinsmen so that they can attend their remaining exams outside prison and to spend the Greater Bairam holiday among their families and in their houses.
