Opposition organizes protests outside the Ministry of Education
The April 6 Youth movement organized a protest in front of the Education Ministry buidling demanding the immediate investigation of the assault by police officer on al-Azhar female students, and the expulsion of the university gaurds from campuses

The group asserted that the students are fully entitled to practice their rights and freely elect a student body without outside intervention from government officials

 
The movement denounced the aggression against the students Somaya Ashraf and Manar Shokry as well as the arrest of Tanta 's Professor, Merhan Ghorab.
 
The statement concluded with the April 6th movement's condemnation of the aggression and oppression used against Monofeya's university students belonging to the April 6th movement and the Muslim Brotherhood opposition.
