The executive office of the Jordan 's Muslim brotherhood offshoot the Islamic Action Front has announced that it will revoke the membership of Ahmed Oudah and Mad Allah Tarawneh if they fail to withdraw their candidacy and support the party's decision to boycott the country's parliamentary elections.

According to the Jordanian's MB Secretary Jameel Abu Baker the Party has decided to boycott the elections slated for November 9 and will not allow any of its members to run for candidacy in the upcoming elections. He asserted that anyone who violates the movement's boycott decision will be referred to the movement's administrative courts.

Although numerous meetings with Jordan 's PM took place, the IAF Party insisted on its decision to boycott the elections in protest to the demands ignored by the regime to reform electoral policy guaranteeing integrity.

On a related note approximately 40 members of the MB's political arm in Jordan mainly students were arrested by security forces at the University of Jordan , after attending an awareness workshop on the movement's decision to boycott the elections. All however were released and without charges.
