Hamas has lashed out at Israel's aggressive practices against Palestinian prisoners in its "Nazi detention centers", holding it responsible for consequences of such a "ferocious war" against them.

Hamas in a statement on Monday criticized the international community for its silence vis-à-vis such "crimes" against thousands of Palestinian prisoners, at a time the world is declaring solidarity with a single Israeli captive who was captured while taking part in an aggression on the Gaza Strip.

It urged the international organizations topped by the UN, all concerned countries, and the Palestinian people to display solidarity with the prisoners and to demand an end to the "oppression and terrorism" befalling them.

The movement asked the world community to pressure Israel into releasing all Palestinian prisoners.
