MB offshoot calls on Egypt to allow entry of stranded Gaza bound convoy

                                                                                                                             

 Jordan‘s Muslim Brotherhood offshoot the Islamic Action Front, appealed to the government to interfere and call on Egypt to permit the entry into its territories of a humanitarian aid convoy heading for Gaza was stranded in the southern governorate of Aqaba.

In a statement posted on its official website the IAF slammed the Egyptian government’s position claiming that it contradicted  its former promise of opening the Rafah crossing in Egypt to help ease the suffering of the Gazans in Palestine. It called on the government to positively act and place pressure on the Egyptian authorities to allow the entry of the convoy which seeks to help reduce the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza . The convoy organized by the professionals association was made up of 25 trucks carrying basic humanitarian aid with 150 participating activists.
