GAZA, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Islamic University and lawmaker, Jamal al-Khudari, said the international tour he made accompanied by the head of the Islamic University Dr. Kamalain Shaath aimed to improve conditions and academic standards for students at the university.

He also said that the tour opened the door for external coordination with foreign universities and improve the general academic level.

This came during a visit by the Student Council of the Islamic University to  Jamal al-Khudari on Thursday, after his return to Gaza from a tour of several countries including Turkey, where the university presented the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with an honorary doctorate.

Khudari said that the visit to Turkey was to express gratitude for their efforts which will certainly ease the burden on the university students and will open horizons for them in the field of advanced knowledge.
