MB Chairman: Camp David Accords fruitless, and annulling is inevitable

Dr. Mohammed Bdiea, Chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), affirmed that the IOF-Egypt Peace Treaty "the Camp David Accords" has lost all its credibility. He described it as not complying with the rulings of Islam, nor the interest of the nation. He depicted it as prone to disaster since its text was full of uncertainties.

"This does not indicate a call for reviewing the Convention nor a call for war as others claim, but rather a  call to offer  the people the ultimate source of authority and the right to freely express their opinion", he said

In his weekly message titled "Peace in Islam", the Chairman maintained that it is the duty for all to prevent and resist aggression and to defend one’s self, property, family and religion from the oppression of the usurper. He asserted the necessity of ensuring the freedom of Islam from the conspiracies and plots schemed on behalf of the so called peace treaties

"After more than 31 years of the signing of the Camp David Treaty the IOF  has  not stopped its culturally, economically, socially and scientifically destructive war machine, but rather continued in its ways destructing houses, building settlements and Judiazing Jerusalem".

He pointed out that after more than 31 years Sinai has not fully returned to Egypt but is a formality, as highlighted by political analysts who believe that the Treaty did not lead to full normalization of relations but imposed the will of some over others. In fact the IOF continue tampering with our nation by refraining from signing the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, which threatens the security of  Egypt .

Dr. Mohamed Badie called for the annulment of the Peace Treaty since it has in fact already been breached with the Israeli’s continued aggression on Gaza and its targeting of resistance leaders whose goals are to defend and claim what is rightfully theirs. He called for all to be prepared in case of military threats to the nation and advised all to support the resistance and to have patience and persistence, and forbearance for Islam’s call which promotes tolerance and peace.

He concluded his message asserting that, "Through patience fear will fade and the stones laced with this are much more effective than the adversary’s military machine. Victory is not impossible as long as the resistance continues. Continue with the war of nerves as we are armed with faith and our adamant stance will prevail as promised by Allah. We will attain peace, which will ultimately salvage humanity from what it is now facing."
