Verbal clashes as MB delegates demand political intervention against State security’s harassments

 Heated debates broke out as members from Egypt ‘s Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc engaged in verbal clashes with the National Democratic Party  during a joint meeting of the human rights committee in Parliament. The NDP argued that the inquiries handed in by the MB regarding violations of rights by the State security and police were ludicrous.
 
MB delegates had accumulated testimonies by numerous victims who had maintained that violations ranged from sexual abuses to theft during raids on houses were not met lightly by the ruling regime’s representatives. The NDP maintained that the security apparatus had every right to enter the houses by force according to the infrastructure of law enforcement.
 
MB MP Ashraf Badr el Deen, Badry Amer, demanded immediate political intervention to end these violations however proving these assaults and harassments are not always easy.
 
The NDP MP insulted the MB describing them as murderers prompting them to leave the hall as tensions rose.
