At least 11 Palestinians wounded in Israeli occupation airstrike

RAFAH, At least eleven Palestinians were wounded Friday evening as a result of an Israeli occupation airstrike targeting the airport east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.

Dr. Muaweyah Hasanin, Director of Emergency Services, said that Israeli occupation aircraft fired a number of rockets at a number of labourers collecting gravel from the ruins of the airport to earn a living.

He said that the ambulances have so far transported eleven wounded men to Abu Yousef al-Najar Hospital and the European Hospital, and that there could be more casualties.
