MP Ibrahim Zakareya Younes, member of the MB Parliamentary bloc and the Education Committee in the Parliament, criticized Dr. Ahmad Altayeb, President of Azhar University's, description of the teachers' exams as a "Comic show" stressing that "it is a part of reality which reflects once again the failed governmental policies".

In a seminar for "the Development of Education" Al-Tayeb stated that "the exams held for the teachers which was organized by the Ministry of Education for teachers of both general and Al-Azhar  Education was in fact an amusing performance in which teachers overwhelmingly cheated".

Younes asserted that the bonuses were the teachers' legitimate rights; however, the government's mismanagement is the reason behind the chaos.  He also stressed that although the government wastes millions of pounds without reason, it still receives support from political leaderships.
