Zionist security officials claim that Hamas has anti-aircraft missiles

NAZARETH — The Hebrew newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth, on Thursday reported that Zionist security officials said that Hamas has managed, after the war on Gaza, to smuggle anti-aircraft missiles into the Gaza Strip which pauses a serious threat the Zionist helicopters.

The paper reported the officials’ claims that Hamas could use the missiles by setting up ambushes to military helicopters and low-flying fighter-jets.

The paper further claimed that Hamas has replenished its arsenal to an extent that would limit the IOF activities and deter it.

On Tuesday, Head of the Military Intelligence Directorate, Major-General Amos Yadlin, told the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Hamas has successfully tested a rocket with a 60 km range.

Hamas ridiculed the report and said how could they test such a rocket in the Gaza Strip which does not stretch for more than 40 km, and said that such reports which are widely publicised in the Israeli and international press aim to mitigate the effects of the Goldstone report and to prepare the public opinion for a major assault on the besieged and starved Gaza Strip.
