The Interior Ministry once again challenged the prosecution today and ordered the continued detention of Zaher Abdel-Fattah (4th Grader, Faculty of Theology- Al Azhar University, and Mansoura Branch) and his colleague Khalid Abd al-Hadi (3rd Grader). They were transferred into Wadi Al-Natron Prison despite of South Mansoura Prosecution acquittal Saturday.

The Security services arrested the two students Thursday evening at their houses on charges of participating in activities organized by the Brotherhood students at the University to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a related context, Mansoura Misdemeanor court decided today to release Amgad Alsalkawy, an employee at Sandoub and one of the Brotherhood members who were detained after State security forces raided houses and arrested 19 leading Brotherhood figures from Dakahliya on October 17. However, the prosecution “objected to the release order. The session was set for today before the Criminal Court to consider the prosecution's objection.
