A Parliamentary Question on the targeting of Egyptian Camels by the Israeli Occupation forces

An inquiry was filed by Dr. Hamdi Ismail of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Parliamentary bloc questioning  Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif, Eng. Amin Abaza, Minister of Agriculture and Foreign MinisterAhmed Aboul Gheit about the rumors of the killing of Egyptian camels in Sinai by IOF.

He demanded officials in the Ministry of Agriculture, the General Association of Veterinary services and the Ministry of foreign affairs to start immediate investigations into the matter.

Dr. Sami Taha, Head of Unlimited Veterinaries Movement, revealed the mysterious death of a large number of Egyptian camels in Dahab, South Sinai. He accused the General Association of Veterinary Services of negligence and failure in performing their duty and demanded they explain what is happening in concealing the real reason behind the death of hundreds of Egyptian camels.

He also blamed the Israeli forces on the Egyptian borders, which shot Egyptian camels without clear justifications, demanding reasons for this unlawful killing.

It is worth noting that some Israeli forces shot a large number of Egyptian camels a few weeks ago, stressing that they killed them because they carry diseases. However this was denied by Dr. Taha who accused the IOF entity of being  behind the spread of the lumpy skin disease. Scientific researchers however, confirmed that this disease came from the east.
