Senior Law Students at Helwan University will join the Resistance Students protests, students demonstrate on Cairo University campus, 800 in Helwan University

2.00 PM:

There is a protest right now in front of the journalist syndication

 

There are two protests in front of Helwan University 

 

There is a protest in front of faculty of sciences at Cairo University

 

There is a protest in front of Al-Montazah police station and I do not think that it is related to the strike.

 

There is a sand storm currently in North Sinai , I think this is forcing the people to stay at home whether they like or not.

 

1.55 PM:

There are clashes between the students in Helwan University

 

There were several arrests across the country.

 

The security forces cracked down the labor protests in front of the labor union,down town "the time of the protest was 12 PM CLT"

 

Everything seems normal in Masr Al Gadeda and Madinat Nasr "Via Lasto adri"

 

 

1.50 PM: 

Ahmed Abdel Fatah published in his blog photos showing the security measures in Giza Governorate near the Cairo university and in front of the state council "It is interesting to see the anti-riots vehicles in front of Al Horreya school !!"

 

Abdel Fatah is saying that currently there are tough clashes between the students and the security inside Ain Shams University Campus.

 

According to my resources there are protests in Cairo University Campus too

 

The security measures Down Town are the highest ,it is something logic especially that 6th April youth group has announced their protests location there.

 

1.45 pm: 6 April Ain Shams University detained students taken to Zeitoun Police Station,denied legal access

 

1.30 pm: 25 police officers including police general are following Salma Saead in Ramsis St

 

1.30 pm: 300 students demonstrate on Cairo University campus, 800 in Helwan University

 

1,00 pm: Few dozens are protesting now in front of the Press Syndicate

 

1.00 pm: Police raids activists" homes in Fayoum

 

1.00 pm: Clashes on Ain Shams University campus betn student activists and police collaborators

 

1.00 pm: Police armored vehicles surround State TV building to abort any protests

 

12. 10 am: The Socialist-led Resistance Students in Helwan are staging protests on campus

 

12.00 am: Helwan University administration trying to convince Faculty of Law students to suspend their sit-in

 

12.00 am : Egyptian Federation for Trade Unions in Galaa St is under police siege

 

12.00 am: Activist detained in Port Said for distributing pro-strike stickers, charged with overthrowing the regime!

 

11.30 am: Senior Law Students at Helwan University will join the Resistance Students protests.

 

10.00 am: Small protest at state council with massive presence of media, police and plainclothes thugs
