A delegation of the Turkish Red Crescent Society on Monday toured the devastated Palestinian homes in Sumud refugee camp east of Jablalia town north of the Gaza Strip.

The team members listened to testimonies of many citizens who lost their relatives and homes and fled to nearby areas following the Israeli brutal war on the Strip.

The citizens thanked the TRCS delegation for visiting their camp and for providing them with relief assistance. They also hailed the Turkish role during the war on Gaza in support of the Palestinian people.

One of the delegates said that the Turkish government and people would continue to support the Palestinian people, and lauded their steadfastness in face of the ferocious Zionist war machine.

The delegation announced that it would participate in re-building a number of houses as soon as necessary construction materials were allowed access into the Strip.
