Torture Victim Afflicted With Rot
Khalil Ibrahim Khalil was transferred to Ra’s El-Teen Public Hospital in Alexandria to be treated from the effects of torture through burning and dragging, and from the bruises caused by police officers on the night of the 27th of Ramadan. His direct nursing team confirmed that he had arrived to the hospital suffering contamination from injury and a rotten smell emanating from his burnt skin.

Khalil Ibrahim Khalil was transferred to Ra"s El-Teen Public Hospital in Alexandria to be treated from the effects of torture through burning and dragging, and from the bruises caused by police officers on the night of the 27th of Ramadan.  His direct nursing team confirmed that he had arrived to the hospital suffering contamination from injury and a rotten smell emanating from his burnt skin.

In their special statement to ikhwanweb, the nursing team said:  "the patient is being treated harshly by the doctors as one of them wanted to write a letter ordering his leave from the hospital and return to the police station to resume investigations against him." 

It is mentioned that Khalil was tortured at the hands of two Sidi Gaber police officers whose hearing into case no. 23526 will be held in the Sidi Gaber Criminal Court on October 8, 2008.
