11Tourists, Four Egyptians Kidnapped In Upper Egypt Amid Fears Of Transporting them to Sudan
Around 11 tourists and four Egyptians were kidnapped from several places in Upper Egypt on Monday, security sources said.

At least 11 tourists and four Egyptians were kidnapped from the Egyptian-Sudanese borders in Upper Egypt on Monday, Reuters and security sources said. Among the kidnapped an Egyptian police officer, five Germans, five Italians, and a Romanian tourist.

 

The cities from which they were kidnapped are not yet known.

 

Reuters said that the kidnapped include two Israeli tourists and that they might have been transported to Sudan.

 

In the same regard, the Italian foreign ministry said that five of the tourists are Italian.
