Muslim Brotherhood MP Azab Mustafa has submitted an urgent query to the Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Nazif demanding clarification of the falure of Egypt’s delegation to the 2008 Beijing Olympic games and the millions of pounds wasted as a result.

Azab strenuously criticized the “shameful performance” of Egypt’s Beijing delegation  and said it mirrors administrative corruption.

“Millions of Egyptian pounds were devoted to this delegation, but it came up with nothing at the games,” he said. “Why the need then to take huge sums of money out of the state"s General Budget without winning one single gold, or even silver medal?”
