The Supreme Administrative Court ordered the obligatory of registering the names of 100 MB candidates in the final documents of municipal elections in Sharqiya governorate.

The court will view other 113 appeals of MB candidates calling for stopping elections in Sharqiya because of the violations committed in electoral stations against them despite the court verdicts the MB candidates have, enabling them to participate in the upcoming elections held on April 8th.

In the same context, state security forces arrested “Mahmoud Salah” from Belbeis city, Sharqiya on Friday night when he was preparing some posters for the MB advertising campaigns for municipal elections in Sharqiya.

Dr. Farid Ismail, MB member of Parliament of Sharqiya governorate, commented on the court verdicts confirming that the judiciary have great honorable reaction concerning the upcoming elections.

Ismail said that judiciary did its best to oblige the administrative institutions to provide all election documents and papers needed for all candidates, then the judiciary further to issue verdicts confirming the registration of many candidates who were unable to register themselves in the upcoming municipal elections because of the different violations done by the government.

“On the other hand” added Ismail, “the executive authority still insists on continuing that farce of moving against court verdicts and law and committing different kinds of violations.

Ismail confirmed that till now none of the names of MB candidates have been registered in the final municipal election documents though they had court verdicts confirming their registration in the elections, an act that proves the government’s clear violation to law.

In Kafr Al-Sheikh governorate, two MB candidates were arrested by the security forces during the candidates advertising campaigns.

Both MB candidates of Kafr Al-Sheikh, Gamal Abdul-Fattah, a civil engineer, and Dr. Ali Al—Deghedi, a researcher in agricultural production who has a PhD in philosophy of agricultural science, have previously had court verdicts allowing their registration in the upcoming municipal elections.
