Members of the Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc in the Egyptian People”s Assembly rejected in a statement the visit of the US President George Bush to the Middle East region, including Egypt. The MPs called on the Egyptian government to reject the visit to be in line with the feelings of the Egyptian and Arab public opinion.

The Egyptian members of parliament staged a vigil on Tuesday morning, Jan, 15th, 2008, in which they condemned this planned visit to Egypt, especially after the statements that the US President declared immediately on reaching his first stop of the tour in the region of protecting the security of Israel in the first place his incitement to displacing the Palestinians.

The parliamentarians demanded also Arabs rulers to be up to the responsibility and reject such statements which constitute an insult to the Arab people and an incitement against resistance in Palestine, Lebanon and others and they also unveil a hideous sense of discrimination and racism that aim to end any hopes for a return of the Palestinian refugees to their houses.

They also demanded all freemen in Arab and Islamic countries to take all necessary stances to abort the US administration”s new plan that aims to tightening the blockade on resistance powers and imposing a flagrant intervention into the region”s affairs including the occupation of Iraq and attempts to divide Sudan. The MPs see that Bush”s visit aims to fragment national entities, stoke sectarian and ethnic divisions in order to increase his dropping public rating among the American people.
