Dr. Mohamed Saad Al Katatni, the head of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) parliamentary bloc, apologized on behalf of the bloc for not establishing this year"s party of Iftar (breaking the fast) which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, Ramadan, 18th, due to heavy pressures exercised by security services on the administration of Egyptian Doctors Club in Giza .

Dr. Al Katatni confirmed that the Iftar is a social occasion that includes those concerned with parliamentary affairs and the bloc preferred to apologize to protect the prestige of those invited to the party.

Al Katatni raised his eyebrows towards the security services" unjustified attitude towards the Muslim Brotherhood group and bloc"s Iftar parties. It is actually an unsuccessful attempt to decrease the public ratings of the group whose MPs proved that they are efficient enough defend rights of the Egyptian people .
