University Student Kidnapped in Fayoum, Others Barred

In the Governorate of Fayoum, southwest to Cairo, a Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated student called Abdul-Rahman Rajab Arafa has been kidnapped by State Security agents this morning. The student, who studies at the Faculty of Specific Education is being considered one of the leading activists inside Al-Fayoum University campus.

Note-worthy, other students in the same university have been barred by the campus guard from getting in, under the pretext that they are dismissed for a week; despite they weren’t convicted before a disciplinary council.

Politically-speaking, these acts stands for the unjustifiable escalatory policy admitted by the security apparatus for intimidating the young dissent.
