Violette Daguerre’s Shepherd Room Stormed in Cairo
Egyptian Security Forces stormed the room of Violette Daguerre, the chairperson of the Arab Committee fro Human Rights, in the Cairo downtown hotel of Shepherd. The forces seized some of her personal belongings.

Egyptian Security Forces stormed the room of Violette Daguerre, the chairperson of the Arab Committee fro Human Rights, in the Cairo downtown hotel of Shepherd. The forces seized some of her personal belongings.
 
Dr. Daguerre told Ikhwanweb that she was surprised after returning from he Sunday tour that her room was stormed and that some of her personal belongings were seized. 
 
Daguerre saw this assault on her room as a message from the Egyptian security and that she grasped such a message well.
 
The human rights activist saw this message as reflecting the mindset dominating the actions of the Egyptian security.
 
Daguerre is currently in Cairo to monitor the fourth session of the military tribunal against 40 Muslim Brotherhood leaders. However, she was denied access along with Samih Khareis, the Amnesty International"s delegate.
 
Worth-mentioning, UK journalist Yvonne Ridley complained also that her room in Cairo-based Semiramis hotel was stormed while she was trying to attend the previous session of the military court.
