IOF troops injure 7 participants in the Bilin anti-wall protest, assault MEP

The IOF troops injured on Friday afternoon seven participants in the weekly anti-wall demonstration held in the village of Bilin to the West of Ramallah.
Eyewitnesses said that five Palestinians and two Internationals were wounded by the IOF troops who fired rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas and stun grenades at the demonstrators.
The two international sympathisers wounded were French named Punal and Jussi.
The five Palestinians injured include: Maysoon Azzam, correspondent of al-Arabeyya satellite channel, Eyad Burnat, Adeeb Abu Rahma, Kamal al-Khatib and Abdullah Abu Rahma.
Luisa Morgantini, vice-President of the European Parliament along with MEP Chris Davies participated in the protest in solidarity with the residents of Bilin and the Palestinian people and stressed that the Palestinians have the right to struggle against the building of the racist wall.
The IOF troops did not spare the MEPs either as they pushed Davies to the ground and rough handled him.
Meanwhile, four protesters were injured in the nearby village of Nilin in a similar protest against the apartheid wall and the confiscation of land belonging to the villagers.
