Tens of Muslim Brotherhood and Kefaya Activists Rounded up

In a new episode of arrests among political activists and members of the Muslim Brotherhood calling for reform, the Egyptian police rounded up 25 of the Muslim Brotherhood ranks from Sharkya governorate in addition to 18 from Giza picked up on Friday while they were posting signs of the National Front for Change (NFC) denouncing emergency laws.

In another incident, police picked up four members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Kafr El Sheik city and declined to inform families of their whereabouts. The four were not charged with any crimes.

More than 49 of Kefaya (Enough) and the Youth for Change movements have been also detained since the latest demonstrations in support of the Judges last Thursday.

Morsy: The regime is incapable of halting Reform efforts

Dr. Mohamed Morsy, member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Executive Bureau, in response to latest crackdown said “the Egyptian regime is in a state of political confusion but will not be able to halt the reform efforts through its irrational practices against judges or by the continuous waves of arrests”

Dr. Morsy added “the regime wants to bring the nation back to square one, which is not possible. The political awareness among Egyptian continues to grow and the march for reform will continue until the people achieve their just demands”
