 Egypt Coup Authorities Freeze Assets of Individuals, Businesses for Alleged Ties with Muslim Brotherhood 


Government committee tasked with appraising and seizing the Muslim Brotherhood assets froze  bank accounts of 14 individuals on grounds of their ‘alleged’ affiliation with Muslim Brotherhood (MB), namely:

Ibrahim Essam Al Erian

Sarah Essam Al Arian

Ayat Allan ‘Anan

Omar Al Hag

Ahmad Al Hag

Yasser Al Hag

Sameh Al Mahdi

Fatma Rizk

Mohammed Saqr

Mohammad Raslan

Omar Tawfiq

Mohammed Shalabi.

The seizure of individuals assets, companies, and other entities includes confiscating real estate, freezing bank accounts, deposit boxes, treasury bonds, stocks and bonds registered in their names in all banks controlled by the Central Bank of Egypt.

The Committee has also froze assets of nineteen companies on alleging that they are owned by the Muslim Brotherhood in different provinces.
