President Morsi Complains of Poor Medical Care, Negligence in Prison

In a press release from the family of President Mohamed Morsi (unjustly incarcerated in Egypt) regarding his health, his son Abdullah Morsi said: "Today (Wednesday), while attending a trial session of my father President Mohamed Morsi, he did not appear to be in good health. He asked to speak to the court. The court refused to allow President Morsi to speak.

"He spoke to other ‘defendants’, saying that since June 4, 2017, he suffered two episodes of fainting and a complete diabetic coma without any medical care suitable for his condition."

President Morsi said: "I eat nothing but canned food. I am not on a hunger strike".

President Morsi asked his defense team to file a complaint with the Public Prosecutor to take the necessary action and request that he be transferred to a private medical center at his own expense for the necessary tests and check up on his health.
