FJP Understands Wassat Party Exit from National Alliance; Appreciates Pro-Revolution Endeavors
Ahmed Rami, spokesman for the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said his party understood Wassat Party’s exit from the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance. The FJP appreciates Wassat Party’s work to create a new umbrella coalition to rejuvenate the January 25 Revolution.

"The FJP does not disagree much with anything in Wassat Party’s exit statement. On the contrary, we do hope the party will succeed in its quest to achieve victory for the January 2011 Revolution.

"Even though we may take different courses of action, Wassat Party has proved – through its political action during the January 2011 Revolution – that it sincerely is committed to the Revolution’s principles, and that it generally sides with high morals – without compromise."

Rami continued: "If the Wassat Party is successful in creating the national umbrella of revolutionary action, as announced, we would certainly like to be a part of it.
